When MBA Classrooms Ask Boardroom Level GenAI Questions….

The Masterclass session on “Generative AI for Future Managers: Curiosity to Sense Making” at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore will stay with me for a long time.

A special thank you to the Kumaraguru administration and management and, in particular, Dr. Poongodi Bhupathy for the thought, energy and logistics that went into making this guest lecture happen.

What stood out was the extra 30 minutes of Q&A that students insisted on having. They let the discussion run deep into their lunch break, knowing they still had post lunch classes to prepare for. The questions were not “student questions” in the usual sense. Many were corporate grade questions on ethics, guardrails, data quality, and how future managers should think with GenAI rather than simply use it.

For me, that level of curiosity and seriousness is the real outcome of the session. 

Tools will keep changing. This mindset will not.
