Research Paper at ICSDP’25 : Bridging the ESG Integrity Gap

I am delighted to share the submission of my third research paper: “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘚𝘎 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘎𝘢𝘱 𝘪𝘯 𝘈𝘴𝘪𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘶𝘭𝘧 – 𝘈 𝘔𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪-𝘥𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘈𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘤𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨” at the recently held International Conference on 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘗𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 2025 (𝘐𝘊𝘚𝘋𝘗’25), hosted by 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐲𝐚 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐊𝐈𝐓𝐒) and 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐲𝐚 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐊𝐒𝐌),  with the academic partnership of 𝐒𝐚𝐡𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 (𝐒𝐈𝐌𝐒), 𝐊𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐚.

This paper interrogates not just what companies disclose, but whether their reporting reflects true integrity. By benchmarking practices across regions, it highlights the gaps between compliance optics and authentic sustainability integration.

Grateful to mentors, peers, and institutions that continue to inspire rigorous research in this critical space. I hope this work sparks meaningful conversations among policy makers, boards, and academia on how integrity – not optics – must become the competitive currency of ESG.
